SAP Evaluation at $255

The SAP evaluation is considered to be one of the most common tools for determining whether or not an individual has substance abuse problems. The process is based on the DSM-5 criteria for substance abuse disorders. It provides a range of questions that can help determine if an individual has an addiction or not.

The purpose of this evaluation was to determine whether SAP’s Program for Truckers is helpful in minimising the negative effects of substance misuse among truck drivers.

More than 20 million Americans, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), suffer from a substance use problem.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), one in three drivers may experience a collision involving alcohol at some point in their lives.

Substance abuse is defined as the “continued use of alcohol or other drugs notwithstanding issues associated to its use” by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
